Artist's Description
A figurine of a beautiful Geisha with one of the larger breeds of birds . . a graceful great white Egret. OK ... I THINK it's an egret .. it could be a Heron ... or even a crane. Anyway, it's a very tall bird and shows graceful lines in this figurine. A close-up image of the Geisha is blended into the background whice is colored in various shades of blue. Also large in the background, and so subtle you'll wonder if it's really there, is a silhouette of a crane. A lotus blossom rests at the bottom of the figurine and both are reflected on a shiny surface.

While my vocation included wedding and portrait photography and the restoration of very old (and not so old) images, my avocation goes toward the more creative.
