Love this duvet cover in the Tree Fort Suite of the Elk View Lodge, Fernie, BC, Canada.
This is a composite of three images of the same egret landing in wetlands and was taken at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge. I always find it interesting to look at a series of photographs of animals to observe their behavior. Great white egrets are part of the heron family. They were nearly hunted to extinction because of their beautiful plumage around the end of the 19th century, but luckily have recovered. They can be found in marshes, wetlands.
