A male White-tailed eagle relaxing on a snow-covered limb of a dead pine tree in the Smalielva region of Flatanger in Norway. The bird is standing on his left leg and has just stretched his right leg and relaxed the tendons in his right foot - he is having a rest because he's earned it!

I am a full-time Natural History and Wildlife photographer from Cheshire, in the North West UK. As well as taking photographs I teach photography at all levels and also specialise in digital workflow tuition and colour management.
