Deception Pass separates Whidbey Island from Fidalgo Island, in Washington State. It connects Skagit Bay, part of Puget Sound, with the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The international boundary between the United States and Canada runs down the center of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
