Emerging from the fog, Deception Pass Bridge comes into view. Located in the Pacific Northwest and northern Puget Sound, the bridge soars over a turbulent waterway which connects the Straits of Juan de Fuca with Skagit Bay. Built in 1935 the bridge towers over a dramatic seascape where tidal flow and swift currents move quickly, making this a treacherous passage for boats.
