A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Closed Gentians are native to North America, especially in our Northeastern corridor, and bloom in late summer. Here we see them in late August and early September. This picture was taken August 24, 2012, at Green Lane Reservoir in East Greenville, Pennsylvania, USA.
These plants are considered "threatened" in the states of New York and Maryland. Although I can find them in Pennsylvania, it does take some looking. If you find some please don't pick them.

The crab spider seems to have found a good hiding place to wait for unsuspecting bugs.
About Carol Senske
I always wanted to try photography, and my retirement offered an opportunity to do just that. The natural world is my first love. Here you will find pictures of things both large (landscapes, for instance) and small (macro) that catch my eye. I hope the images serve as a window into the natural world many of you don't have the chance to see. In a sense, I'm trying to create a guided nature trail, sharing what information I have about the subject. I'm always grateful for new and better information and welcome all input. Learning is food for the mind and soul. Nothing is ever harmed in the picture-taking process, but some things that wander into our home (like spiders) are carefully removed from the house after they serve as "models"....

A fantastic shot with very interesting details, dear Carol !!! Love the way you are conserving the natural resources....as plants have their own role and entity..(F/V)
Carol Senske replied:
Thank you so very much, Latha. I fear as we humans expand, the "natural" world contracts.

oh and another one !! and I love the beautiful flower ! very cool pic and look at those colours - wow - I wish we had these flowers here
Carol Senske replied:
Gentians used to be common, found in almost every wetland area around, but building, roads, over-picking (you name it) and a lack of knowledge are causing it to disappear along with other gentian types. Fringes gentians are lovely - haven't found one in over ten years. There is a chance you might have some in a wetland area that is not overly traveled.
