Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
October in Vancouver has been a month of rain, making for difficult photo opportunities, even with the autumnal colours which are now starting to go past their peak. Sunday was a rare exception, a day without rain, and mostly sunny, and I was eager to get out and take some photos.
For this shot, I headed to CRAB Park at Portside, which opened in 1987 and was named after the committee that created it, 'Create a Real Available Beach'. This park is in the area of the city known as Downtown Eastside, or DTES, commonly (although incorrectly) referred to as Canada's poorest postal code, and which has issues with crime and drug use. The park, however, is beautifully maintained and very pleasant.

Born in the UK, I moved to Vancouver, BC in 2011. My career in photography has grown from a long-held passion for capturing the beauty of the world, aided on the technical side by my background as a software developer. I specialise in fine art photography of landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes in and around the Pacific Northwest, with work exhibited internationally. Many of my photographs feature the beautiful city of Vancouver, but as well as capturing its iconic cityscapes, I can often be found exploring the BC and Washington coastline for new photographic opportunities, as well as developing my portfolio of night sky photographs featuring the Milky Way and the Aurora Borealis.
