About the Artist

Bryan Bustard

I consider myself primarily an illustrator. I never quite fit in with others, so I grew up isolated and found much of my comfort in movies, comic books, music, and books. My artistic influences include fantasy illustrators from the "Brandywine" school of Howard Pyle to the best comic book artists of today. I get my inspiration from such widely diverse sources as the absurd, music, classic movies, myth, pin-up, fantasy literature, and my Catholic sensibilities. I just started a new project on Kickstarter.com as well which I hope will be a respectful tribute to the human form. It is restricted however to women over the age of 35 as I feared that if open to men or younger women, that varying maturity levels might mean that I'd get...
