The chapel doors to the Castillo de san Marcos. The Castillo is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. Located on the shore of Matanzas Bay in the city of St. Augustine, Florida, construction began in 1672, 107 years after the city's founding by Spanish Admiral and conquistador Pedro Menéndez de Avilés, when Florida was part of the Spanish Empire.

Wonderful work. The architecture reflects the melting pot of the people who built it.....very nice. And I love that black opening above the doors. Black is black not dark gray; bravo.

Thank you John again for the wonderful comments. I took a class in film developing (many years ago in collage) and some of the first words out of my teachers mouth where "In black and white photography you must have BLACK and WHITE." That has kinda stuck with me all these years.
