Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
An abstract work painted in admidst a very deep depressive period in my life and depicting a feeling of drowning under more weight than I could bare, and I could only liken this to feeling trapped under deep waters and heading towards a cliff of darkness. I seldom feel this way, but when I do it's very deep and consuming - always with a reason I cannot change.
You may well see differently than anything I have said, and often I feel abstracts shouldn't say anything more than the viewer sees, but I admit, I am unsure if that is so good to not share our humanity with each other.

Zeana, this is fantastic! I too have struggled with periods of deep depression, and I too have found that expressing it in my artwork helps to keep those internal beasts at bay. Thanks so much for sharing this piece with us.

Zeana, this stunning work of art is meaningful and holds so much emotion. The colors are outstanding. The feeling of depression is very apparent in this. We all need a way to express ourselves when going through a depressed time in our lives. You've expressed this so very well. LFt
