An authentic vintage image was used as reference material but I took a lot of license with the original - I started this work in Corel Painter 11, and completed it in Photoshop CS4 [I am not quite confident in CS5 as yet with my brushes. I used a Wacom cintiq and started with a blank canvas - no, the computer does not do this for us. :) Prints do not include the watermark! Please view at full resolution as this is quite impressionistic at full size - the smaller preview gives a more photographic appearnace which was not my intent.
