My passion for art began at a very young age with a healthy exposure to all the great artists throughout history through frequent visits to the museums and galleries. Never without a sketchbook, I would draw whatever I came across. At age thirteen, inspired by landscapes and nature, especially from the post impressionist period, I began to work with oils and produced work consisting of vibrant colors and huge brush strokes. As my love for the medium grew, I found that painting in larger scales allowed me to truly utilize my energy toward my work.
