This simple, old-fashioned Methodist chapel reflects the desire of it's original congregation to cling to their pioneer roots. Although the building no longer serves a congregation, the descendants of the church's founders still care for the building and the cemetery that borders it on three sides. Bonds Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
