This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

Bullied pacific �Clan Line� speeds westward with the down �Atlantic Coast Express� on the old Southern route to the West County, another in a series of paintings commissioned for reproduction as phonecards in the 1980s.
A painting like this of your favourite railway scene, British or American, in oils on canvas or board would cost about �2500.
