Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
Sculpted in 1923 by Herman Matzen, the Angel of Death Victorious is the most famous marker in the Lake View Cemetery. The six foot, 1500 pound bronze angel sits on his massive granite throne at the gravesite of Francis Haserot, hands folded atop an upside down torch. The torch is said to signify the exthinguishing of life. The years have streaked his bronze skin and caused tears of discolored metal to stream from his blank eyes. Some say the angel is crying for those whose lives he's extinguished.

I get why you named this piece what you did but in all fairness (I believe) angels such as this were actually meant to guard the soul against evil by the people who buried them. That said this is a beautiful piece.The photographs of this place have inspired me to go to there as it is not that far from me. I'll make a day of it and get some really great work done.
