Back in the day before MP3 players, before TV even there were radio's. You would buy a radio dinner (I'm serious you would), pop it in the oven and let it cook, then just sit by the radio listening to whatever it is they played on those things then. This model is fancy though, it has TV bands, even aircraft, so you can listen to all sorts of interesting things.
