About the Artist

Leila Atkinson

Atkinson holds an M.A. in Art from Adelphi University as well as a graphic arts degree from Ecole Francaise D' Enseignement Technique in Paris, France. She has pursued her exploration of life through art for 25 years, while raising her two children, Joseph and Kelly. She is presently teaching art on Long Island in New York while she continues to paint , draw and exhibit her paintings . The A.I.R. Gallery in Manhattan has displayed her work and Adelphi University has one of her paintings on permanent display. For information about Leila's current exhibits, click on her Blog and events tabs.
