February 11, 2010 - A U.S. Marine uses an M-240B machine gun to provide suppressive fire for Royal Thai Marines from the gun turret of a light armored vehicle while taking part in a combined arms live fire exercise during Exercise Cobra Gold at the Chai Badan Training Area in Thailand. Cobra Gold is an annual joint U.S. and Thai military exercise designed to ensure regional peace and strengthen the ability of the Royal Thai Armed Forces to respond to contingencies.
