This mid 19th century US Presidential History print features Abraham Lincoln, the 16th US President who hailed from humble beginnings and is most well known for his preservation of the Union and the end of slavery. This is the photograph used for the five dollar bill. During the American Civil War, Abraham Lincoln projected himself as an aggressive commander-in-chief of the Union Army who left no stone unturned to ensure victory and liberate the slaves.
