I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
About Terry Stokely
I'm a central Kansas-based artist. My subject matter ranges from intricate and lavish dining sets and Baroque-style florals to simple fruit pieces. I'm completely self-taught and have been selling art professionally for over thirty years. My works are in private collections throughout the state of Kansas. I started out as a portrait artist but soon fell in love with painting still life. The mood and style of my works are greatly influenced by the great Dutch and Flemish Masters of the 15th - 18th centuries, and some of the early Colonial American artists. The early masters had a profound influence on me as I developed as an artist, I guess because their images are so striking and no one really seems to paint like that...
