Work By Artist Harold Ellison Is Featured At Illuminations Exhibit At Mass General Hospital In Boston

"Illuminations" is a rotating art exhibit housed in the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, one of the world's premiere hospitals and cancer centers. The exhibit is intended to offer enlightenment and encouragement to patients, families, staff and friends of the Cancer Center as they receive care, provide care, or accompany loved ones. The work of several artists, representing various media, is on display for four months at a time. Artist Harold Ellison, current artist-in-residence at The Dorchester in Charlotte, NC is a featured artist in the Summer exhibit. In addition to the display of 17 of his paintings, his acrylic entitled "Four Women" was selected as the cover of the brochure and for the marketing posters for the grand opening of the exhibit in June. Harold Ellison's nephew, Jeffrey Walker, is married to Dr. Karen Winkfield, a radiation oncologist at the hospital.
