The Penitentiary is pleased to announce a new format of releasing one painting every Wednesday starting yesterday,July 1st.broihier First up,to celebrate the 4th of July is a 16x20 painting titled "Come On Home Johnny,We Need You Now.The painting is of John Rambo,one of my favorite movie characters of all time.With the World seemingly on fire,war all across the middle east,with the rise of Isis,its time for one more mission for the ultimate warrior John J Rambo.The painting brings back to life the soldier of fortune for one more mission,to bring peace to the middle east,and all of the world.broihier On July 8th,comes "Captain America",a 16x20 painting of a motorcycle based on the classic Harley from the movie Easy Rider.broihier July 15th brings an 8x10 painting of the Bixby bridge in Big Sur,California.broihier July 22nd is a 16x20 painting titled "Cougar in Paris".I'll keep you guessing on what that might be.broihier July 29th is still in the works at this time.As you can see,we've tackled a lot of different subject matters with our paintings,and we will continue to do so,so you will never know what you might see on this site.broihier Last but not least,Fall River is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Battleship Cove in Fall River in August.In honor of this historic event,the Penitentiary has decided to lower prices on all of its paintings from now through Labor Day.Check out the entire catalog.We here at the pen would like to thank you for your business.Legends of New England continues to be a fan favorite of this site.broihier Happy 4th of July.See you in August.Thanks.
