Seeking Justice For Horses Seized In Broadwater County

This Month marks 1 year since Authorities stepped in and Seized over 34 Horses Goats and a Donkey from the abuse they were suffering in the hands of people who were supposed to be helping them. Sadly some of the animals Rescued had to be put down due to the deplorable conditions they were in, now the surviving Horses are in limbo and in the Care of the Broadwater County Sheriff's Department. To date it has cost just about $100,000 to care for and feed these animals while waiting for this case to go to Trial. The Owners of Rocky Acres are each facing 34 Felony counts of Animal Cruelty
Two of the Many horses that Survived this nightmare have become Models and have several Pictures posted here on Fine Art America. To Commemorate the struggles that these horses have gone through their fight for survival Stephens Photography for the month of March will donate 75% of all proceeds raised through sales here to the Care and Expences that have been incured nursing these Horses back to health. Please help make an impact for these Horses and show them that there are still those who love and care for animals. The Owners of the Rescue Facility were each required to pay $25,000 bonds to go to the costs of caring for these Magnificant Animals and to my knowledge both have yet to pay any amount towards this.
