Saatchi Art In London Sells A John Norman Stewart Watercolor.

Saatchi Art Gallery in London sold a small abstract watercolor by John Norman Stewart yesterday. It's title was "Stones and Bones" and it measured 9 x 12 inches, unframed. The painting had been featured in a book titled "Watercolor Paintings by Contemporary Artists" published by Chronicle Books and authored by Leslie Dutcher and Sujean Rim, published in 2013. John had six other abstract watercolors featured in the book.
Although this was the first sale of a Stewart original by Saatchi, they also sold a print of one of his paintings "Table Abstract" last year.
