WELCOME ALL MARITIME ARTISTS
Maritime artist Bill Hubbard announces a new GROUP on Fine Art America which will depict Privateers and ships of the navies of the Colonial American States as well as the ships of other countries with which they fought. It is for your paintings and sketches of those ships and their naval action at sea during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.
The ships should be painted in your selected media or sketched as near accurate as possible with what data is available and the descriptions of their actions is as commonly accepted. Studies of the ships and naval fortifications may be old sketches, post cards and historic descriptions as well as photos of restored ships. Photographs will not be accepted to this group.
Artists should be sure to name the ship(s) you paint or sketch along with a description of it's action if any..
