Open House At Rago Auctions Features Panel Presentation, The Stories Things Carry

August 27th, 2014 - Lambertville, NJ

Open House at Rago on September 9th Features Panel Presentation “The Stories Things Carry”

Lambertville, NJ: Rago Arts and Auction Center hosts an open house on Tuesday, September 9 at 6 p.m., featuring a panel presentation, “The Stories Things Carry”. Featuring Rago specialists, the presentation takes place during the preview week for the Rago Estates and Unreserved auctions to be held on September 12, 13, and 14.

The staff at Rago sees scores of consignment inquiries daily. Infrequently but inevitably, each of us confronts objects that take hold of our attention where so many others do not. It may be the provenance of the object or its maker, its history, its singularity. Whatever it is, it drives us to know the piece above most others before it leaves our hands and moves on. Please join Rago Specialists Michael Ingham, Jad Attal, Chris Wise, Sarah Churgin, Katherine Van Dell and Sebastian Clarke for “The Stories Things Carry,” a panel presentation where we will tell the stories behind some of the objects in the September auctions.

The auction house opens on Tuesday, September 9 at noon. A reception begins at 5 pm. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. Please R.S.V.P. to raac@ragoarts.com or 609-397-9374 ext. 119. If you are unable to R.S.V.P. in advance, please join us. All are welcome.
