Rochester, NY – The recent artwork by Lisa Marie, “Resting”, has been included on the FAA website for sale as prints or postcards. It is a fantastic addition to her Pet Portraits Gallery.
With a Master’s in Art History and experience studying the old masters while living in Florence, Italy, Lisa Marie brings a strong academic background to her artwork. Every portrait, animal or human, incorporates a sense of the sitter’s individual personality. With an emphasis on graphite and colored pencils, the artist’s classical style focuses on texture, character, and precision.
The original drawing, “Resting” was donated to the silent auction, hosted by the Nazareth College Nursing Club & Rochester Birth Area Network. Reminding us that art can be a significant contribution to our community.
