My New 2016 Calendar.

This high-quality, A4 size, wall calendar contains 13 watercolor paintings I have done in Kyushu, Japan. My theme for this year has been water and this calendar has paintings of sea scenes, river scenes and waterfalls.
These paintings are all places I have visited. They include Sasebo in Nagasaki prefecture which is famous for having over 200 islands and was one of the places filmed in The Last Samurai. There is also Kikuchi Keikoku in Kumamoto prefecture which is a beautiful river with a series of waterfalls. Several paintings are of a beach in Kamae, Oita prefecture. I was enchanted by the wonderful reflections of the beach. And one is of a stunning waterfall which I found by accident this year in Oita prefecture and is called Higashi Shiiya.
