Missouri Artist Steven Wilson Announces Pure Enjoyment

SPRINGFIELD, MO (September 15, 2014)-Missouri artist Steven Wilson is proud to announce his participation in the juried 2014 Pure Enjoyment Art Show sponsored by Brewer Science. The show will have 94 works by 43 artist. The show will be held at the Creamery Arts Center at 411 N. Sherman Parkway in Springfield, MO. The opening reception will be held on October 3 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The show will run from October 3 to October 30.

Steven Wilson is a Westphalia, MO artist who works in many mediums which include: ceramic stucco, resin sand, oil, acrylic, pyrography, wire lath, and plaster of Paris. He is an experimental artist who delves into Minimalism, Expressionism, and Fauvism. His work incorporates the theories of Rohrschach and texture which allows the viewer to act upon the work of their own accord.

Wilson is a member of several artist groups in Missouri which include: Jefferson City Art Club, Arts Rolla, and the Missouri Writers' Guild.
