Local Artist Launches New Oracle Game

Denver, CO: Local artist Sonya Shannon, who did special effects for a "Star Trek" movie, will release her new "Transformation Oracle" game in booth 208 at the Denver Celebration Metaphysical Fair on Sept. 5 at the Denver Merchandise Mart.
Sonya Shannon is a pioneer digital artist who worked at Broadway Video (home of Saturday Night Live), and whose animation students are now leaders at Blue Sky, Pixar, WETA Digital and other major studios.
The "Transformation Oracle" features 44 original works of art and is based on the four elements earth, air, fire, and water. Local dancers, actors, and yogis posed for the images, which were digitally composited.
The artist will lecture on the transformative powers of art on Sept. 5 from 6-7pm at the Metaphysical Fair. You can find out more on her website sonya-shannon.com.
