Do you believe in ghosts?
In recognition of Halloween, UniversityIcons.com features a blog post about 7 haunted colleges. Even if you are a skeptic, or simply don't believe any of it, there is something compelling about a ghost story; something that draws in even the most hardened non-believer. The first image was taken at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. This is known, somewhat famously, as The Middle Path. It bisects the campus and looks perfectly innocent during the light of day. But imagine yourself walking this gravel path, late at night, when it's pitch dark, when the only sounds are the crunch of gravel under your feet and the rustle of the autumn leaves. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, it's possible you just might quicken your pace . . . just in case. Or maybe you will look nervously over your shoulder from time to time . . . just in case.
