April 13th, 2014 - Trumbull, CT

Fran Gallogly's portrait, "Pushkar Camel Trader," was selected to be hung in the prestigious juried show "Images 2014" at the Fairfield Museum and History Center in Fairfield, Connecticut. This is the second year in a row that one of Gallogly's images was selected to be hung in this competition which is open to photographers throughout the region.

The exhibit will run from May 11-June 22 at the museum. Last year only 60 images were selected to be hung in the show out of some 1,000 images submitted. This year the jurors selected 69 images to be hung in the museum and 18 Honorable Mentions which will be exhibited at First Niagra Bank in Fairfield.

There were four jurors from the field of art. Helen Klisser During is Director of Visual Arts at the Westport Arts Center in CT. Jordan Schaps was Director of Photography for New York magazine and now is a professor at the School of Visual Arts. Philip Trager is one of the foremost photographers of architecture and dance.
