EX-fanatic Explores Recipes For Fanaticism

October 30th, 2014 - Victoria, BC

I this week started a Facebook site with the help of Fine Art America. It's called Truth-Explorers' Lab. I am interested in testing truths consciously and invite others to join and report back from the field as you look into your truths in your own way. I've created a "notes" tab where we can discuss findings at more length. My drawings represent apparent truths I've picked out and tested in my life. It's an unfolding and I have to submit like any researcher to patience and care as I look to recognize where to step next. I would never have drawn a single meditation if I hadn't been determined to use the energy of my pain to seek wholeness. Now that I've found some lovely healing, feeling so much better, here I'm reaching out. Is seeking truth (NOT preaching it) also something you focus on? Dispute resolution workshops have helped bring me to this point, for instance. As have philosophy chats. As has the fact I am an EX-fanatic, which means I believe I have an understanding of people who won't budge an inch when discussing their beliefs. I was like that once. I am willing to talk about what it was like to firmly know I was right. And how I came crashing out of my sweet belief-system with awareness that struck like a bolt of lightning after a quiet incubation like a root out of sight in the dark earth.
