Boerner To Teach Photography Class

The Art and Gift Gallery is announcing a four-session photography class to begin Monday evening, October 6th. The course topics will emphasize the fundamentals of creative photographic composition, but will also include techniques on proper camera handling. Primary emphasis will be given to understanding the essentials of the Elements of Design, Composition, and Lighting. Knowledge of these concepts will allow the photographer to not only take better quality photographs, but to also add creativity to their work.
The course will be conducted by Ron Boerner, with the first session to be from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. on Monday, October 6th. The class will continue each Monday evening through October 27th with the exception of the second session which will be held on Tuesday evening, Oct. 14th instead of Monday Oct. 13th. The cost of the course is $65, which includes the cost of materials. The classes are open to anyone wanting to learn how to improve the quality of their photographs, regardless of the type camera they use.
