EA EDITORE Palermo and Artistic Consulting Studio RUSSO Rome, after recent successes at the international exhibitions in New York, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Stockholm, and Paris and the recent International Art Biennale di Palermo are pleased to present the "Bienal Art de Barcelona", an extraordinary artistic event that will take place at the MEAM. The European Museum of Modern Art, located in the heart of the historic centre of Barcelona, will host the 1st Art Biennale of Barcelona. The event takes place from 17 to 19 April 2015. For this occasion, more than two hundred international artists will have the honour of presenting their works in the precious rooms of the Palazzo Gomis, not far from the Picasso Museum, in the narrow streets of the Born district of Barcelona. A neighbourhood where culture is always present and that reflects all the charm of the old town. An area that has been able to combine tradition and modernity and that has become a must for tourists interested in Barcelona's monuments and art. Palazzo Gomis was built in 1792 at the request of a wealthy merchant named Gomis. After several restore operations, the Palace opened its doors to visitors in 2011, offering a unique experience in the world of contemporary fine art. This event of international importance is designed, curated and organised by Francesco Saverio Russo, Salvatore Russo, and Sandro Serradifalco. It aims to propose visual narratives of artists destined to be remembered in time. Magical scenery able to give the viewer an insight into the contemporary art, with many new creative testimonies.
The guest of honour of the opening day will be Josè Van Roy Dali, painter and heir of Salvador and Gala.
The event will also be attended by the curators of Salvatore Russo, Francesco Saverio Russo, Sandro Serradifalco, as well as the staff of EA EDITORE, Serena Carlino and Rino Lucia.
