Artist Suzanne Reynolds fine art will be on display at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital on Education Drive in Auburn., Jan 1, 2011 - ?
The show is part of the “Art Can Heal Program,” sponsored by Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital.
Suzanne credits her talent to medical miracles. After moving to Northern California seven years ago the stress of the move brought on a minor stroke that seems to have stimulated the right side of her brain, the creative side. Her talent emerged soon after.
She believes a miraculous recovery from Multiple Sclerosis and a hit and run accident also enhanced her talent.
“My mission is to strike a spiritual chord within others through the eyes of my subjects”
Viewers are mystically drawn to the image by the piercing gaze reflecting the subjects soul.
Suzanne works in oil and pastel. Her subjects are either “divinely” inspired by a reference photo of a saint from long ago or commission work which she welcomes . Trips taken to Mexico and abroad have also influenced her style.
