Claude Monet proclaimed: “Color is my day-long obsession, joy and torment.” Whether depicting a luminescent still life with luscious fruits and flowers or illustrating an imaginative world of fantastic beings, Tinatin Vachnadze’s kaleidoscopically hued exuberant compositions explode with an expressionistic spectral palette which translates into works of art that evoke celestial, surreal and ethereal realms. Evocative, emotional and imbued with great visual energy, her luminescent gem-colored forms vibrantly ascend the compositions, inspiring viewers through rhythmic brushstrokes, melodic color schemes and compositional harmony.

Investing each composition with incredible vitality and an irrepressible hued syncopation, Tinatin Vachnadze’s expressionist compositions pulsate with gestural swaths of bold colors and brilliant plays of light. Tension and energy dominate her fiery and explosive canvases as her masterful color application electrifies the scene she portrays. With a jewel tone color palette of vibrant yellows, emerald greens, deep blues and fiery reds, she captures the dynamism and evanescence of her subjects and infuses a dash of magic to each work. Luminous colors illuminate her whimsical depictions of luscious fruits, vibrant flowers, or dynamic portraits. In her still life paintings and portraits, Ms.Vachnadze skillfully employs her energetic color palette to breathe new life into her subjects. The figures and objects pop against swirling backgrounds of luscious hues, reminiscent of the majestic canvases of the Avant-Garde masters as her oeuvre skillfully blends otherworldly themes and earthly subject matter in her lively exciting style.

Cultivating a strong reputation in the international art world, Award-winning artist Tinatin Vachnadze was born into a family of artists in the culturally ripe city of the former Soviet Republic of Tilbisi, Georgia. The New Jersey based artist Tinatin Vachnadze studied at the Georgian State Academy of the Arts in Tbilisi and she received her Masters in Fine Arts and Fashion Design in 1995.
