A Group Art Exhibition at Gallery 76broihier
Art lovers in Dubai will be treated to some of the finest contemporary art produced in the city as six artists with six different nationalities come together in a modern art show titled Amoromnia. The Ambassador from Belgium to the UAE, Her Excellency Dominique Mineur, will attend the ribbon cutting ceremony on opening night. The month-long exhibition is set to premier at Gallery 76, located at Dubai International Art Centre, on Tuesday 21 April at 6 PM and will run through Tuesday 19 May 2014.broihier
The six artists have participated in successful art exhibitions around the world. The fantastic collaboration has resulted in a beautiful collection of modern painting and sculpture that fit perfectly with the spirit of Dubai; a melting pot of international cultures and contrasting artistic expressions. Variety is the spice of this show; blooming gardens, solitary figures, flying dragons, all come alive using non-traditional materials in innovative ways. The result is a fascinating kaleidoscope of modern cultural expressions.broihier

She started ceramics in Dubai, thanks to Katerina Smoldyreva, and uses clay to put her memories into shape. This particular series tries to capture her souvenirs of the stone buddhas (jizu) in Yusei-en Garden - the Garden of Pure presence - in the Sanzen-in temple.broihier
