Aesthetics And Light Life And Work Of Ordi Calder

The work of an artist says a lot about its history. In the photographs of Ordi Calder, you can see a curious child and observer. Exactly as it was. "Since little was trying to understand the works that way. I am self-taught and thus began to study music and photography, "said the artist in his speech at a vernissage held at SESC Palmas (TO).

In his youth, he studied History Ordi and did graduate in Graphic Design. His first photo exhibition was in 2009, a unit of SESC. "At the time, I selected seven thematic photos on Sacred Geometry".

In general, Sacred Geometry is the study of the links between the proportions and shapes in order to seek the understanding of life. The subject is present in several works of Ordi, awakening also reflections on the aesthetic and the beautiful through the images.

The theme was also present in his exhibition at SESC Arts Gallery in Palmas (TO) in 2014. For the Tocantins capital, the artist brought 16 works and among them, some screens that also make up collection of international galleries.

"I became involved in photography groups on the internet, showing my work. One of my photos was selected by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), the only award-winning Brazilian photo, "said the artist.

SESC Amazon of Arts

Through the project SESC Amazon of Arts, Ordi Calder circulated by Brazil presenting the exhibition of works spellings of Light Graphics Facts. "It was very important to participate in the project and expose the SESC. This is a door that opens, and perhaps the greatest of them, "says the artist.

The Amazon of Arts aims to establish dialogue, exchange and knowledge of the art produced in the Amazon region. The artistic languages dance, music, theater, film, performance and visual arts are part of the program of the event, which aims to spread the culture produced in Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima, Tocantins and Piauí, who is the guest state.

About the exhibition, Ordi account that the aim of the work is the search for aesthetics. "It is natural human condition and enjoy the beautiful, from the moment you make a picture, it intersects in time. I love these concepts and I think this is my best work, "he concluded.

Currently, Ordi has 45 papers selected for 34 international exhibitions. In all there are 12 winning entries, one "Accepted Award-FIAP" International Federation of Photographic Art.
