This is really a spectacular shot in my opinion, JIm. Seeing the wonderful droplets of water on the underpetals of this white rose really did the trick for me. It;s strange, though, that the droplets can also look for all the world like the craters on the white of the moon's surface! Isn't that odd? ;0) Julie.

Hi Scott~It was good speaking to you at Riverview gallery tonight. Your work certainly stands out as best in show! So glad I got to see it in person. I just received this piece of art this week. It is much more than I'd hoped for. The color and texture are wonderful. It looks as though you could reach right inside of it. It is an eye-catcher when you walk in the room. Fine Art America also did a first-rate job on the stretched canvas and their packing is great. You'd have to run over it with a truck to damage it. I will be purchasing more of your art in the future. Keep up the fantastic work!

Your photos convey your love of nature. Have you been to the U.S. National Arboretum, in Washington, DC? The best time to visit is Spring. I have several photos I've taken there posted here.

This is a pretty interesting drawing with very fine coloring! Actually I can discern lot of subjects in it, including people, plants, animals and architecture. Many of your drawings remind me of Salvador Dali.

There is always a hint of mystery when one encounters old keys...the farmhouse I grew up in Wyoming had skeleton keys for the locks. That old hardware is beautiful.
