When a visitor decides to make a purchase, FineArtAmerica takes care of everything, including:
-- processing the visitor's credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express)
-- printing on paper or canvas
-- framing (if applicable)
-- matting (if applicable)
-- canvas stretching (if applicable)
-- e-mailing an order confirmation to the visitor
-- e-mailing an order notification to the seller (i.e. you)
-- sending you your payment once the order ships
When you sell one of your prints, you get paid exactly what you asked to be paid... and possibly even more! FineArtAmerica does not subtract a commission from your profits. Instead, we add a small markup to each purchase (approximately $5.00) which is paid by the buyer. Also, if the buyer adds a frame or other accessories to the order, you earn an additional 10% commission on all accessories.
Throughout the entire checkout process, your headshot or logo remains at the top of the page. It always appears as if the checkout is occurring on your website.
Once the checkout is complete, the buyer receives an e-mail order confirmation and is redirected back to your website! You, as the seller, will also receive an order confirmation from FineArtAmerica.com.
At any time, you can login to your account at FineArtAmerica.com in order to:
-- view your sales history
-- view your account balance
-- modify print sizes and prices
-- add / remove prints
Adding the shopping cart to your website is very, very easy. All you need to do is create a link from your website to:
(artists - replace "firstname-lastname" with your name)
(galleries - replace "galleryname" with your gallery name)

Activate Our Print-On-Demand Feature
After you've opened your account, the next step is to activate our print-on-demand feature. Please note - there is a $30.00 annual fee to use this feature. In order to activate print-on-demand, simply login to your account, click on the print-on-demand tab, and then follow the instructions for entering your credit card information. Upload Your Artwork - Specify Print Sizes and Prices
Once you've activated the print-on-demand feature, it's time to start uploading artwork. Click on the "Artwork" tab and then click "Upload New Artwork". Each time you upload an image, our system will show you what print sizes are available based on the size of the image. The larger your image... the larger we can print.
Simply select the sizes that you want to sell (from the available sizes) and assign a price to each size. Click "Submit", and you're done!
