About this Group
This plein air group is for art lovers and artists at all levels who love plein air painting and believes that an authentic plein air painting is done outside on location in front of the subject. Still life and painting of studio models is not considered plein air. Some finishing can be done back in the studio but generally 90% of the painting is completed outdoors on site. Any media may be used oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastels, charcoal, pencils etc. No photography or digital imagery will be accepted or paintings done from photography.
There should be something in the description about the plein air experience of creating the painting. If the plein air experience is not part of the description, the image will not be accepted.
