About this Group
This group is for any artist (primarily photographers) based in/or live in the Los Angeles Area. However, all artist in the So. California area are welcome to join. Several times I have been unable to accept professional (w/pay) photography jobs. I would like to share the overflow with local photographers, and vice a versa. If you are not an established artist in the business, it can be discouraging. Being able to share the business is a necessity to survive in the industry. Hopefully we will be able to support, excite and ignite, and encourage each other's businesses.
Member's guideline are basic but firm. 1) YOUR LOCATION AS INDICATED BY FAA MUST BE SoCal (Southern California). 2) No nudity of any kind (for LA artists that's going to be hard). 2) No images depicting violence, torture, sexual bondage, sexual abuse (please don't ask me to define), sexual innuendos. 4) No images expressing or depicting racism. 5) No images expressing or depicting any kind of form of religion, or spiritualism; witchcraft, astrology, tarot, demons, devils, angels, amulets, crosses, churches, religious buildings, religious leaders, etc (if in doubt... leave it out). 6) No images that depict or express anything of a political nature, nothing patriotic. 7) The maximum image upload is 1 IMAGE PER DAY. Hopefully the majority of the images in this group will not offend anyone! Yet we know, that is not humanly possible, some will be offended by the most innocent of art. If in my judgment, I think that there is a minute possibility, that an image is not adhering to the guidelines, guess what will happen... you got it. I will take suggestions on how to refine these guidelines. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
When there is a contest sponsored through the group, please model contest guidelines to the standards and principles of the group. Normally, all members of FAA shall be allowed to participate in sponsored contests.
