Very evocative piece, Paul!

It was actually a tribute to someone I hadn't met before, kindly offering to drive me to a social group meeting - I was kinda surprised he had a teeny tiny baby on the back seat, and casualy asked where the mum was... "she stayed down South" was the reply. Then I found out later she had died giving birth... didn't I feel like a cad!
