Thank you Dvid and Carol. The peony is the national flower of China. It represents riches, honor, and spring. Regarded as the "king of flowers, " it has been used symbolically in Chinese art and literature since ancient times. Peonies grow so beautifully in the Midwest. No wonder it replaced zinnia to become the state flower of Indiana in 957 :-).

Thanks so much Kathy! I put a lot of love and passion into art. I also paint on silk and linen scarves, and personalize people's names in Chinese calligraphy. It's fun and very popular. For instance, your name is translated into Chinese as 凯希 (Victoria and bright future). You may check my art shop eyArt at etsy.com.
