Description
This abstract painting of a yellow crystal vase with a deep red tulip on the front has cubist and expressionist overtones. This is painted in my style called meta expressionist. I explore emotion, pattern, color and brushstroke in my work.
The vase image was inspired by a white,opaque, antique water pitcher and a clear cut crystal vase with floral designs on it. I have use the image of of the vase many times in my paintings, and each time it morphs in a unique way.
