I changed the title of this piece after a wonderful dream I had. While I have had my share of romantic dreams this one was different. In this dream I was in my later years walking with my true love. I don't know if the couple actually in this image were high school sweethearts or they had taken many detours before the found each other but regardless if life's path is a straight line or a somewhat more complicated and circuitous route, they are exactly where they are supposed to be and at this point in my life; so am I.

This one couldn't be more perfect....exact spot, exact way the sky looks, the soft pastel colors, the way one's eye moves around the scene, taking it all in. Yes, right where everything and everyone is supposed to be :)

Thank you all for the kind words. While life can be hard I do believe that we end up exactly where we are supposed to be. For every difficult situation we must live through, there is something wonderful waiting on the other side even if we can't see it anymore. Sometimes we just have to drive forward into the darkness but we have to remember to keep on going until we do see the light and we come out the other side and that is when we can finally take the time to walk hand in hand down the beach.
