You capture the spirit, joy, and sheer delight in life of these dancers and musicians. Lovely colors; great sense of motion! I can imagine the beat of the drums dancing through their veins. Strolling through your gallery is like a visit to Haiti - reminds me of Harry Belafonte's music and my favorite, favorite, favorite song Haiti Cherie. Had to run to YouTube and listen to it again just because of your paintings:>). V/F

Welcome to my site, Carol! Wow! What a pleasing comment! Oh yes, Harry Belafonte pays a nice tribute to Haiti by singing :Haiti Cherie". If you google youtube/ Haiti the caribbean pearl, you will enjoy Haiti even more. This is a nice song too, with some English at the end; there is a slideshow accompanying the song. This is the Haiti that I know; the one that is never shown on TV. Thank you so much, Carol, I greatly appreciate your visit.
