Winter sunrise scene at one of the most arid parts of Utah. A recent fire took its toll in this area, and during summer months, these hills are even more desolate, leaving visitors with a view of an occasional cedar tree and a covering of natural yellow grass. A recent snowfall covered the area, leaving one to capture endless fields of white.
Tooele County is home to about 60,000 inhabitants spread throughout one of Utah's largest counties. Its geology includes vast areas of jagged rock.
