Description
Winter Cardinal.
This beautiful male cardinal was playing Peek-A-Boo outside of my window.
Quick story about this Photograph. When I first noticed him he was about 25 to 30 yards off in a tree when I first placed the 300mm on him. He was barely filling the frame. I made a comment to my friend that he needs to come in closer. Within a minute he flys over to the bush by the window.
Now he's within 7 feet and hangs around long enough to shoot a dozen shots.
I guess sometimes you just have to ask for what you what/need.
This is one Photograph of three (3) of this Winter Cardinal. The other photo's can be found in my Birds Gallery.
From my eyes, through the view finder to the click of the shutter. I hope you enjoy these moments in time that have been captured.

Hello James, thanks for visiting my work and leaving a comment. This also is my favorite one. Good story with this bird. At first he was about 25 to 30 yards off in a tree when I first placed the 300mm on him. He was barely filling the frame. I made a comment to my friend that he needs to come in closer. Within a minute he flys over to the brush by the window. Now he's within 7 feet and hangs around long enough to shoot a dozen shots. I guess sometimes you just have to ask for what you what/need.
